With a decent return of 18 points from eight matches, Hobart Hurricanes are one of the better teams in the BBL this term. They are placed third on the log, and within reach of the summit. In superb form so far, the Hurricanes are good value for their comfortable league position. Having lost out to Melbourne Stars last time out, they will be desperate for a win here to return to winning ways. A major concern for HH, DArcy Short has been underwhelming thus far. Skipper Wade will be hoping the talented batsman regains his mojo soon again.
The Raptors have been having a hard time winning recently, although the reason most likely lies not in the team itself, but in the location of the home matches. Nick Nurse’s charges were forced to move to Florida due to the coronavirus pandemic. Toronto have recorded just one win since the start of the season, that’s one of the worst numbers in the league. In the last meeting the club lost to Boston (114:126). Even Fred Vanveleet’s 35 points didn’t help.
