The Wolves are coming up against Southampton in the cup after a 0:0 draw with Leicester in Matchday 22 of the Premier League. One point did not really improve the standings of Wolverhampton, which is only 14th in the Premier League. Nuno Santo’s team haven’t won much lately. In 15 previous matches the Wolves have achieved only four victories, three of which were in nine home matches. Twice during this period they achieved success just in the FA Cup. First, Wolverhampton defeated Crystal Palace in their home arena with a minimum score of 1:0 in the 1/32 finals and then beat Chorley in the 1/16 finals away with the same result.
Thunder started the season rather weakly, having gained only a few victories. This was followed by a series of successful meetings. Everyone thought about getting the team out of the crisis, but it was not there. Thunder has problems with the game under its own ring and so far there is not enough stability, which does not allow the team to jump into the playoff zone, but the whole struggle is still ahead. In a recent meeting Thunder managed to interrupt a streak of failures with a victory over Houston, but after that they exchanged victories with Minnesota and lost to the Lakers in the first meeting.
