Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway scoring runs is a very positive sign for CSK. RCB have lost their last three games. CSK's bowling was a problem, but with pitches slowing down, his spin-heavy attack could be much more effective.

RCB have suffered three losses in their last three games but still sit fifth in the IPL 2022 standings. We took some positives from the loss to the Gujarat Titans in the previous game, most notably the fact that Virat Kohli scored a fifty.

The fact of the matter is that Virat Kohli's 58 of 53 deliveries likely played a big part in RCB's eventual loss. Will this time spent in the middle allow him to play with freedom? We're not sure and would advise betting on him at this point.

Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell and even Mahipal Lomror played pretty well. Faf du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik both scored runs and that gives RCB a pretty strong batting lineup. They just need one of their big players to get up and play a big inning.

We like how Maxwell played and would bet on him scoring runs.

RCB's bowling lineup had a poor outing against the Gujarat Titans. However, it's still one of the better bowling lineups in IPL 2022. Josh Hazelwood, Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel lead the lineup with support from Maxwell, Siraj and Shahbaz.

With spin playing a bigger role in the matches we would support Wanindu Hasaranga to win wickets and maybe even the Top Bowler RCB betting market.

Chennai Super Kings

CSK were again under MS Dhoni's lead in the previous game and things suddenly seem to be back on track. The big positive was beating Ruturaj Gaikwad. After a terrible season, he found his best form, hitting 99 from just 57 deliveries.

His opening partnership with Devon Conway was worth 182 runs, so expect these two players to open again.

Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayadu, Dwaine Pretorius and MS Dhoni will form a strong middle order with Jadeja and Santner to add depth. Shivam Dube needs this batting formation for the power boost and he can come in when he is fully fit.

The bowling lineup for CSK has been a big problem this season. They struggled for any kind of control on death and their spinners weren't great either. Now, however, the pitches slow down a little and offer a little more help.

We believe this is the time MS Dhoni can get the most out of their bowling lineup. Jadeja, Theekshana and Santner will hold the runs more effectively, while someone like Pretorius can also use his change of pace.
