West Ham have improved a lot lately and today they are a serious opponent for any team in the Premier League. The start of the team was confident in the English League Cup and not so confident in the start in the FA Cup, where the iron at the 1/8 finals lost to Southampton (1:3). In the Premier League tournament the Hammers have 14 wins and six peaceful outcomes after 30 rounds, which brought 48 points and seventh position in the standings. Following the success in the duel with Aston Villa (2:1), the Londoners lost to Tottenham (1:3). Bowen, Tsoufal and Ogbonna, who has a knee injury, will not be able to play today.
Rajasthan Royals looked not so prospective on the second day of the auction, but it was exactly the opposite as soon as they took the field. There were few surprises, but their strategy looked great after they executed their approach and strategy in the opening game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. It’s still early to say something, but Rajasthan Royals will be relishing the top-of-the-table position which they occupy right now. They not only won their opening match, butq also did so clinically. Almost everything, right from the beginning to the very end, seemed to be falling the Royals’ way. Perhaps the only thing that didn’t work out well for them was Nathan Coulter Nile going for plenty in his three overs. The Royals’ signing of Devdutt Padikkal was intriguing, especially with Padikkal being a designated opener. Sanju Samson, Shimron Hetmyer, Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler looked convincing with the bat and the total they scored was evidence enough of their potency. It seems that Rajasthan Royals have pretty much all their bases covered in bowling. The opening pair of Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna looked lethal on a surface which had a bit of extra bounce and pace. With the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Ashwin to bowl in the middle overs, the Royals will be difficult to deal with right throughout. Their death bowling looked a little unstable with Trent Boult being the only experienced campaigner. All in all, Rajasthan Royals do not only have the momentum going for them they have an exceptionally balanced side to sustain that momentum. Arguably, the only thing they would need to take care of is their death bowling and if they can take care of that, they will be a very formidable opponent, not just in the upcoming match but in the matches to follow.
