LSG beat MI by 18 runs earlier in the season. LSG is led by KL Rahul who loves scoring runs against MI. MI has lost all seven games so far. Beating MI has to get good at some point and we're happy to bet on it with more than a 2x return on the table.

LSG lost their last game against RCB in a game where the team made some crucial tactical mistakes. One of the most notable decisions LSG has made is to let Stoinis wait until around the 15th. That's a poor use of a player capable of so much more.

It also puts a lot of pressure on Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul to get runs in every game. These are the only two players who have scored more than 200 runs for LSG in IPL 2022 so far. If these two players drop out early, beating LSG will be in serious trouble.

One thing to consider here is KL Rahul's record against MI in the past. He has 764 runs against them in 15 games for an average of 76.4. He clearly loves playing against them. You can choose to bet on his individuaover/under total for that game.

Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya and Ayush Badoni make up the middle squad that plays most of the bowling for LSG. This is a bug as Stoinis and Holder often don't have enough supplies to make an impact.

Also, the bowling attack for LSG is a bit weak in our opinion. Normally, Ravi Bishnoi stays and gives them control, but he played runs in the previous match and the whole lineup struggled. Sudhmanth Chameera takes the new ball while Jason Holder appears to be the designated death bowler.

LSG is a balanced team with few players in good form. However, it's far from unbeatable.

Mumbai Indians

MI must have thought they finally won their first match of IPL 2022 when they had CSK on the ropes. Unfortunately, Jaydev Unadkat had a total meltdown in the final, eventually conceding 16 runs from his final four deliveries to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

MI continues to surprise with its team selection. They starred Rilee Meredith, Daniel Sams, Dewald Brevis and Kieron Pollard as their four foreign players. We would have loved to see Tim David there but at the moment it doesn't look like David will get more chances this season.

This is a huge shame as David is one of the most feared middle tier thugs in the world right now.

Anyway, Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard are the three big names battling for batting form. Dewald Brevis has also come off cheap in the last couple of games he's played and certainly the promise everyone is talking about needs to be translated into performances now.

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are the only two batsmen who appear to be in good form at the moment. If you need to bet on beating MI, we recommend you look at the SKY and Tilak Varma betting markets.

MI's bowling has been bad this season and it was clear Rohit was trying to work that out with his selection calls. It worked to an extent as Daniel Sams, Jasprit Bumrah, Riley Meredith and even Hrithik Shokeen had a good outing.

However, Jaydev Unadkat was terrible. We might see some more roster changes again as MI tries to find a combo that works for that.
