Lucknow Super Giants

LSG bounced back from a poor start against SRH where they lost early wickets to end up with a good total. This isn't the first time the Lower Order has come to the rescue and it's something that bodes well for the team. We think it's quite likely that Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis will be attacked early on by Lalit Yadav's off-spin to try to capitalize on a good matchup.

LSG will need a lot of high quality spin in this game and that could become a problem for de Kock and Lewis. Because of this, we recommend either forgoing them or betting against them.

KL Rahul is an excellent choice for the Top Batsman LSG betting market. He has 108 runs so far and is in good shape. However, the odds available for him are a bit low.

Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya and Jason Holder give LSG a very deep batting lineup. Holder hit three balls in the previous game and managed to hit a six. He's someone you can certainly look for in the To Hit A Six betting market offered by bookmakers like Betway.

Delhi Capitals

DC struggled with team balance in the first two games due to the unavailability of some of their regulars. Things should get a little better now as David Warner will be available for selection ahead of this game. In fact, Nortje is also very close to being available for selection and Mitchell Marsh should be available from the next game.

For this game we will only consider David Warner as he will play for sure.

DC has played with two or three overseas players so far. That means it could field David Warner and replace someone like Mandeep Singh in the batting lineup. They could, of course, replace Tim Seifert, but having him back in the playing XI is the path we think DC will take.

Warner and Shaw, opening the batting, are an impressive pair and they could be followed by Tim Seifert, Rishab Pant, Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell and Axar Patel. This is a pretty good top 7, with Shardul Thakur still at number 8 to contribute if needed.

The batting lineup has underperformed so far, with not a single batter hitting a fifty and the highest single score came from Lalit Yadav's bat. Pant and Seifert didn't hit a single six and Powell hit only one.

DC has to take inspiration from somewhere and maybe the addition of Warner will be the boost they're looking for.

DC's bowling lineup is in better shape. It has Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel with Shardul Thakur as the fifth bowler. Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur have not taken a single wicket in IPL 2022 and have been quite expensive too.

With Tau playing a big role at DY Patil Stadium, Kuldeep Yadav could also struggle if DC need to finish second. Among those many, we would certainly pick Khaleel Ahmed or Mustafizur Rahman as our favorites for the Top Bowler DC betting market.
