Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran also have over 300 runs to their credit for LSG this season. Yash Thakur has been the most successful bowler for the Super Giants in 2024. He has taken 10 wickets and knows how to excel in Lucknow’s conditions. He is an excellent closer who deserves support. Mohsin Khan, one of the tournament’s best left-arm spinners, has taken nine wickets for Lucknow this year
The “Knights of the Road” have won only 50 percent of their last five matches, but like Lucknow, they achieved significant success early in the tournament and remain in contention for the playoffs. KKR won the tournament in 2012 and 2014 and, ten years later, is vying for their third IPL title. Phil Salt and Sunil Narine are their top scorers this season. Salt has scored 392 runs, while Narine has scored 372. Both have struck nine times. Salt and Narine score at a rate of over 180 runs per 100 balls each, making them perhaps the best opening pair in the competition. In IPL 2024, Kolkata has three bowlers with 11 wickets each. Narine, Harshith Rana, and Varun Chakravarthy have achieved remarkable individual and collective results. KKR should bring Rana back for this match after he was rested for one game.
