PBKS has a stronger batting lineup. DC could be without some key players for this game due to a COVID outbreak in their camp. Liam Livingstone has tremendous contact for the Punjab Kings and we think that's a huge asset.

DC suffered a pretty big loss to RCB in their previous game after spending most of the chase in the driver's seat. Interestingly, it was Mitchell Marsh who struggled to get the ball off the field in the previous game, but he won't get a chance to redeem himself thanks to a COVID infection. Again, DC can play with just two or three overseas players for this game. They don't really have many options left in their roster. Maybe Tim Seifert gets another chance or Anrich Nortje is ready for another try, but neither of these players are good replacements for Mitchell Marsh. With Rovman Powell also having a terrible IPL season, DC is struggling for power and quality in its roster. This will put a lot of pressure on David Warner and Prithvi Shaw to redo most of the work at the top of the inning. Both players are in great form and are good at stroking the ball. You can try to profit from the Highest Opening Partnership or High Score 1st 6 Overs hit markets. DC's beating lacks depth and its middle order is fragile. Early wickets could be devastating for him. The bowling lineup is led by an army of left-handers. Khaleel Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel are all in the playing XI at the same time. It's not really a problem as they all have a different style of bowling.

Kings XI Punjab

PBKS played their previous game without Mayank Aggarwal but now he is expected to be back in the playing XI. That will strengthen the hitting and allow someone like Shikhar Dhawan to play with a little more freedom. PBKS certainly have a player in form in Liam Livingstone. He was one of the most exciting players in IPL 2022 with runs, lots of sixes and a very high batting average in all phases of the innings. Liam Livingstone is the player to keep an eye on. A bet on him becoming man of the match or maybe top batsman for PBKS could be a great option. There are concerns here too. Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow are yet to set the 2022 IPL season on fire. The lower middle class of Jitesh Sharma, Shahrukh Khan and Odean Smith offers a lot of power but not too much stability. PBKS has played an absolutely fearless brand of cricket so far. This means that some days it performs spectacularly and other days it fails completely. We think PBKS is expecting a brilliant match, but that's just a feeling!
