Juventus

Juventus had problems at the start of the season and failed both in the Champions League and in Serie A. However, despite the flurry of criticism, Massimiliano Allegri managed to correct the situation before the winter break. The “old lady” gave out a great series and got to the second line in the table, at some point even being among the contenders for the title. After the winter break, Juve continued to win, but first received a painful blow from Napoli (1:5) and then from the Football Federation, which deducted 15 points from the team for unsportsmanlike reasons. The rapid fall down the table could not be painless. Juventus barely escaped in the confrontation with Atalanta (3:3) and then lost at home 0:2 to Monza, thus finding themselves on the 13th line in Serie A.

Lazio

Lazio had some problems at the start of the season, but they did not lead to disaster. Maurizio Sarri quickly took control of the situation. With the most modest selection of players among all the contenders for a place in the top four, the Eagles cope with all difficulties. They are relatively stable and are able to get results in the confrontation with opponents superior to them in the class. At the moment, Lazio are in third place in the table with 38 points, being only two points behind second Inter. Leaders Napoli are already 15 points clear. From below, they put pressure on the Eagles Milan and Roma, so the whole struggle is still ahead. In the last round Lazio painted a 1:1 draw with Fiorentina at home, thus breaking a series of three wins in a row.
