At the moment, the Georgian national team has assembled the strongest generation of footballers in the country’s history. However, despite this, Georgia finished only fourth in the qualifying group, behind Spain, Scotland, and Norway. In the playoffs, Georgia advanced thanks to successful performances in the UEFA Nations League, where they confidently won the group, surpassing Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Gibraltar.
Luxembourg became one of the main sensations of the Euro 2024 qualification, finishing third in their group. Luxembourg even remained in contention for second place until the very end but ultimately conceded to Slovakia. Portugal took first place in the group.
