We cannot quite fathom what has gone wrong for the Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. They seem totally out-of-sorts, and are really struggling. Last time out, they were on the wrong end of a humbling defeat at the hands of reigning champions MI. Failing to keep up with MIs superior bowling, SRH were unable to chase a stiff target of 208 runs. Skipper David Warner was very impressive on the night, registering his first fifty of the campaign. While bamboozling with his runs, Johny Bairstow and Manish Pandey assisted to keep things going early on. With in-form youngsters Priyam Garg, Abhishek and Abdul Samad in great recent form, Warner will be hoping these ones can keep their performances up. Overly dependent on Rashid Khan and Nararajan in the bowling department, SRH will need Sharma and Siddharth Kaul to provide assistance on that front.
Los Angeles has enormous potential, which the club does not use much. At least in the last two rallies, the team did not even manage to reach the final. Now Los Angeles is generally extremely unstable. Bob Bradley’s charges can fly into the underdog San Jose Earthquakes at home and then arrange a massacre in Salt Lake City on the road. It would be time to go out on some road.
