Udinese have far from their best season, but while Zebras are out of the relegation zone. With 36 points, the club takes 16th place in the table, being ahead of 18th Lecce by seven points. The handicap is quite impressive and allows the team to look to the future with optimism, but there is still a theoretical chance of relegation. Certainly Udinese lacks stability, but with the arrival of Luca Gotti, the Zebras are avoiding the protracted streak of defeats, which nearly deprived the team of a place in the elite last season. In the last round, Udinese gave a fight to Napoli, but lost 1: 2 in the last minutes, thus failing to win in the third match in a row.
Bulls were tagged for the first place in group E and, in principle, did not hide it. The start turned out to be quite successful, as the first match ended with a minimal victory over Atlanta (1-0). The New York Red Bulls did not manage to continue in the same spirit, as the Columbus Crew was caught in its path. The team from New York did not strike a single shot on the opponent’s goal, therefore they justly lost (0-2). Chris Armas and his charges are well aware that the next fight is worth its weight in gold, especially since the level of the opponent allows us to count on three points, so an interesting confrontation awaits us.
