Boston went on a long seven-game road streak that did not perform well. At first, the team played quite confidently and twice defeated the Houston Astros with a score of 3:2 and 2:1, respectively. Further, the Red Sox met with Kansas City, losing in three out of four fights. The team returned to the home arena, where it is also far from always possible to prove themselves. Indeed, the club is not in the best shape and even plays frankly weakly at home.
Miami still managed to break their five-game losing streak with a 3:0 win over the Cincinnati Reds. True, the team was unable to consolidate a successful result. They had to meet with Chicago, losing twice with a score of 1:2 and 0:4, respectively. In the third match, the Marlins still managed to rehabilitate themselves by beating the Cubs dry (3:0). Indeed, this season the club looks frankly weak and so far is content with only 10th place in the table.
