LSG showed how good their first batting line-up could be in the previous game, as Quinton de Kock smashed 140 from 70 deliveries and KL Rahul also didn’t miss out on 68. While the overall partnership was great, KL Rahul didn’t really accelerate in the way he expected and as a result the team only reached 210. Evin Lewis, Deepak Hooda, Manan Vohra, Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder made up the Overseas team of players that the previous have played game. We believe that more or less the same team will compete for the Eliminator as well. The LSG’s batting is tremendous, with the Eden Gardens likely offering a fast, rebounding and excellent face. A high-scoring match is expected. From a betting perspective, this means we can try betting on their batsmen to get some runs. Evin Lewis and Deepak Hooda look pretty attractive for some over/under bets. The star of the bowling lineup for LSG was Mohsin Khan. He has now been selected for the Indian team and that will fill him with confidence as well. With left-arm pacers presenting a particular challenge for RCB’s top flight, Khan could be a good choice to bet in this competition. Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Jason Holder and K Gowtham are the other bowlers in this lineup, with Marcus Stoinis filling in as needed. We like the look of this LSG team and think it has a big advantage over RCB in terms of player pairings.
The Philadelphia Phillies, on the contrary, began to show themselves more skillfully in recent matches, got two wins in a row and climbed to eighth place in the table, having a winning percentage of 0.476. This allows Joe Girrardi’s men to count on a higher position, because they have a couple of games in hand compared to a competitor going higher. In the second meeting in Atlanta, Kyle Gibson (3:2) will appear “on the mound”, having scored a good move.
