For the red devils, the past season can also be called successful, even though the team did not manage to get a single trophy. In the English Premier League, the club finished in third place, which is not so bad when compared with results of previous seasons. In cup tournaments it reached the semifinals, including the international arena. Manchester United spent last year’s European season in the Europa League. The team successfully passed the group stage, whereas in the playoffs was stopped a step away from the final by Sevilla. In the summer, the club’s management spent time, strengthening the team pointwise. Telles, Van de Beck, Traore and Cavani were signed to defend the colors of the Mankunians. However, Manchester United’s performance is not impressive so far. In the national championship, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wards regularly make mistakes in defense, which led to failures in matches against Crystal Palace (1:3) and Tottenham (1:6). “Brighton” Mankunians beat only thanks to a penalty at the last minute (3:2), whereas “Newcastle” put the squeeze only five minutes before the final whistle (4:1). As for the losses, there are practically no losses in the lineup. Of those who got into the application for the Champions League, only Axel Tuanzebe is in question.
