One of the better sides in the IPL this season, KKR currently sit fourth on the standings with a whopping 10 points to their name. Truth be told, the title may already be out of reach, but Morgans men are still in with a shout at playoff qualification. They were made to bend over backwards to secure a fortuitous win over SRH on the last matchday, leaving it till late to clinch maximum points. Openers Rahul Tripathi and Shubman Gill were on fire in that game, and will be looking to keep up this momentum. Though Nitish Rana and Morgan are faring quite well in their respective roles, KKR will need someone in the top-four to come with the goods in subsequent fixtures. As Andre Russell continues to struggle, Pat Cummins and Dinesh Karthik are in tip-top batting form.
Sevilla played great last season. The team of Yulen Lopetegui performed very well in the Spanish Championship, finishing fourth. The main achievement of the Nervion team at the end of last season is their victory in the Europa League, where in the final they beat Inter with a score of 3:2. The UEFA Super Cup did not work out either. Sevilla gave a worthy fight to Bayern and snatched a 1:1 draw in regulation time, but missed in extra times and could not win back. In the Spanish championship, Sevilla has not yet had much success. After four matches, it has only seven points and this baggage does not allow it to rise above the 10th place in the table. In the last round, Sevilla lost away 0:1 to Granada. They failed to hold back their opponents after Joan Jordan was sent off. Thus, the Nervians failed to win in the second match in a row.
