In London the Belarusian tennis player took full advantage of the circumstances and the tournament grid and went through two rounds, beating Serena Williams and Khibino in the fight (6-4, 7-6). In the third round Sasnovich won a set against Kerber, but this did not save her from defeat (6-2, 0-6, 1-6).

The Danes in the semifinals interrupted England’s dry streak in the tournament in the first half, having implemented the standard. The British did not find it difficult to recoup, but after that the rival closed even more and managed to transfer the match into extra times. It was there that the main drama happened. For a foul on Raheem Sterling, Danny McKeley put a very controversial penalty. Harry Kane did not beat Kasper Schmeichel from 11 meters at once, but he was the first to finish.
