Wolverhampton is having an excellent season by their standards. It started off quite challenging for the Wolves, as they secured only one victory in the first six matches. However, their fortunes changed, and they went on a five-match unbeaten streak. Towards the end of December, they won three consecutive matches. In their last four games, under the guidance of Gary O’Neil, they suffered only one setback against “Brentford” with a score of 0-2. They defeated “Chelsea” 4-2, “Tottenham” 2-1, and “Sheffield United” 1-0, climbing to the eighth position in the league table. Additionally, the black-and-orange team has progressed in the FA Cup, eliminating “Brentford” (4-3 aggregate) and “West Bromwich” (2-0).

Brighton & Hove Albion

As for Brighton, after securing a place in European competitions last season, they continue to compete for trophies. They are set to face AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 soon. In the Premier League, Brighton has a good chance to replicate their last year’s sixth-place finish as they currently sit in seventh place. Their recent form has been mixed. In the last four matches, managed by Roberto De Zerbi, they defeated “Crystal Palace” and “Sheffield United” with scores of 4-1 and 5-0, respectively. However, they suffered a defeat against “Tottenham” (1-2) and a draw against “Everton” (1-1). In the FA Cup, the blue-and-white team has already eliminated “Stoke City” and “Sheffield United” with scores of 4-2 and 5-2, respectively.
