Tottenham

Ange Postecoglou’s team has finally strung together three consecutive Premier League victories for the first time this season. They edged out Manchester United 1-0 at home, followed by convincing away wins against Brentford (2-0) and Ipswich (4-1).

Remarkably, this winning streak is Tottenham’s first in the league since December 2023. The Spurs have climbed to 12th place in the standings but remain a distant 10 points away from the European qualification spots.

Manchester City

In their previous match, Manchester City hosted title contenders Liverpool but couldn’t withstand the pressure from the league leaders, suffering a 0-2 defeat. Despite the setback, City still holds a top-four position, though their rivals are closing in and could overtake them after this round.

Interestingly, City’s current points tally at this stage of the season mirrors their struggles from the 2008/09 campaign. Back then, after 26 matches, they had only 32 points and finished a disappointing 10th. To add to their woes, City has been knocked out of the Champions League after two defeats to Real Madrid.  Maximize your start with our free bet welcome bonuses India breakdown.
