Stuttgart is struggling this season. The “Swabians” lost many key players over the summer, and the team is having difficulty competing on three fronts. As a result, Stuttgart currently sits in eighth place in the Bundesliga with 12 points.
Over the weekend, Sebastian Hoeneß’s team managed to beat Holstein Kiel at home (2:1), but they were close to dropping points towards the end. Before that, the vice-champions of Germany suffered a 0:4 defeat to Bayern Munich and drew against Hoffenheim (1:1) and Wolfsburg (2:2).
In the Champions League, Stuttgart nearly took points from Real Madrid (1:3) at their stadium, and afterward, they drew 1:1 against Sparta Prague. However, in their second match, they sensationally managed to beat Juventus (1:0) away, scoring the decisive goal in stoppage time.

One of the greatest clubs in Germany is currently playing in the 2. Bundesliga, and their reaching the finals of the German Cup last season was a monumental surprise. Unlike last season, the “Red Devils” are managing to avoid a relegation battle. After 10 rounds, Kaiserslautern sits in tenth place with 15 points, only 4 points behind the top three.
On Saturday, Kaiserslautern pulled off a sensational away victory against 2. Bundesliga leaders Fortuna Düsseldorf with a score of 4:3, and before that, they crushed Paderborn at home (3:0). In their last five matches, Kaiserslautern has earned 8 points, suffering only 1 defeat.
