Newcastle United
Newcastle has won only two out of their last five Premier League matches and currently occupies the seventh position in the table, trailing seven points behind the Champions League zone. Despite significant personnel losses, the Magpies continue to perform convincingly on their home turf, winning seven consecutive matches in the Premier League and conceding only one goal. Since the beginning of the season, Eddie Howe’s team has only dropped points at St James’ Park in a clash with Liverpool (1-2) back in August. In the last round, Newcastle suffered a 0-1 defeat to Luton Town away from home.

Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest changed their coach, but under the guidance of Nuno Espirito Santo, they couldn’t immediately break their streak of misfortune. In the previous round, the Forest lost to Bournemouth (2-3) at home, playing with ten men from the 23rd minute after Boli’s dismissal. The winless streak for the team has reached seven matches, with the only point earned during this period coming from a draw with Wolverhampton (1-1). Nottingham Forest has struggled on the road this season, earning only five points in nine away games.
