Lecce
Lecce started the season with a series of impressive matches – three wins in five games and two draws helped Roberto D’Aversa’s team break into the European competition zone. However, their schedule can hardly be called easy – the “yellow and red” team left “Lazio” (2-1) without points, made a comeback in Florence against “Fiorentina,” and earned their points with hard work. However, in the last few matches, they couldn’t pick up any points. First, the “yellow and red” team lost 0-1 to “Juventus” away, creating nothing in front of the “Old Lady’s” goal. After that, they suffered a 0-4 home defeat to “Napoli,” where they again failed to create any significant opportunities. Currently, Lecce is seventh in the table with 11 points.

Sassuolo
In contrast to today’s opponent, Sassuolo had a poor start to the championship. However, under the criticism, Alessio Dionisi’s team managed to secure their first victory in the third round, defeating “Verona” 3-1 at home. The main problem for the “Neroverdi” remains inconsistency – they alternate bright matches with poor ones. After two consecutive wins over “Inter” (2-1) and “Juventus” (4-2), fans were clearly expecting success from Sassuolo in their home match against “Monza” in the last round. However, in the end, the “Neroverdi” left without points, losing 0-1 to their opponents. Thus, Sassuolo is currently 11th in the table with nine points.
