Bayer Leverkusen vs Hoffenheim: Prediction for the Bundesliga match

In the last round, Leverkusen ended an impressive 8-match winning streak in the Bundesliga, drawing 2:2 with Leipzig. Xavier Alonso's team, interestingly, has just dropped points for the sixth time in the season when leading in a game, 5 draws and 1 loss. Bayer is still the primary pursuer of Bayern, although the deficit between them and the Munich club has now increased to six points. At home, Leverkusen has won five consecutive Bundesliga matches and in four of the games at least 3 goals were scored. Leverkusen’s team attack is simply amazing. Hoffenheim has worked hard to avoid defeat against Eintracht, with a late goal scored to secuure a draw at 2-2. In the last number of Bundesliga matches, Christian Ilzer’s team has only been able to secure one victory (3 draws and 4 losses). This has left the team in a position where they have not kept a clean sheet in any of these games. A goal indeed was sorely needed. Now, Hoffenheim is positioned 15th, however they have been able to increase the gap to the relegation playoff zone to 4 points. Still, the situation in the team is still critical with 13 players currently in the physiotherapy room.
