Columbus
Columbus failed to make it to the playoffs last year, but this season there is hope among the fans for success. In 19 rounds, the team has recorded nine victories and four draws, earning 31 points and securing the fifth position in the league table. After an away victory against Chicago Fire (2-1), Wilfried Nancy’s team played a draw against New York City (1-1), which will further motivate them to snatch more points from another representative of the Big Apple. In their last game, Columbus Crew defeated Nashville 2-0.

New York Red Bulls
Under Troy Lesesne’s guidance, New York Red Bulls lost their momentum from the early stages of the current season. The sixth-ranked team from last year’s MLS ultimately had a poor start in the new season and found themselves at the bottom of the league table. In 19 rounds of the current season, the Red Bulls have secured five wins and eight draws, accumulating 23 points and currently occupying the 11th position in the standings. After a draw at home against Charlotte (2-2), the team went on to defeat Atlanta (4-0).
