Real Madrid

Real Madrid is not having a very confident season – in the Spanish championship, maximum tasks were set before Carlo Ancelotti’s team, but so far they have not been able to cope with them. After 28 rounds, the “royal club” is in second place in the table with 59 points, 13 points behind the leader, “Barcelona”. Moreover, there is a risk of losing the second line – the third-placed “Atletico” is only two points behind. In the last round, “Real” managed to lose to “Villarreal”, despite leading twice. The disastrous ending finally crossed out the already small chances of winning the title. At the same time, in the Champions League, “Real” looks more than confident. In the round of 16, the “Whites” met with Liverpool and almost secured themselves a place in the quarterfinals in the first match, winning 5-2 at “Anfield”. However, even in Madrid, the “Reds” were beaten 1-0.

Chelsea

The current season is gradually turning into a disaster for Chelsea. With the arrival of a new owner, a large-scale transfer campaign was conducted aimed at rejuvenating the squad. In winter, the Blues also made a huge number of acquisitions and invited Graham Potter to the position of head coach, but the bet ultimately did not pay off, and nothing worked out for the Englishman. After a series of defeats, Graham Potter was sacked, and Frank Lampard was brought back to the club in the hope that his authority would influence the situation. However, in his very first match under his leadership, Chelsea lost 0-1 to Wolverhampton, extending their winless streak to four matches. Thus, the Pensioners are currently 11th in the table and are already 14 points behind the European Cup zone.
