Lazio
Lazio, on the whole, is having a decent season, coping with their main task of winning a ticket to the Champions League. At the moment, the Eagles are in third place in the table with 27 points and in general are even contenders for the Scudetto. Napoli are ahead by 11 points, Atalanta is three points away, but both competitors have already played their matches in 14th round. At the same time, it is much more important for the Romans to keep the third line, which is also claimed by Atalanta, Juventus, Roma and Inter. The seventh Nerazzurri have only three points less. In the last round, Lazio won the derby over Roma with a score of 1:0, thus interrupting a series of two defeats in a row and managing to rise in the standings.

Monza
Monza frankly failed the season. Brianzoli started under the leadership of Giovanni Stroppa, with whom they lost their first five matches in the championship. The leadership did not give more time to the mentor and replaced him with Rafael Palladino, the castling was an instant success. At the end of September, Monza won the first victory of the season, beating Juventus 1:0, then developed success in confrontations with Sampdoria (3:0) and Spezia (2:0). Gradually, the courage faded away and the Brianzoli gave out several nondescript matches, but did not return to a deep crisis. In the last round Monza beat Verona at home with a score of 2:0, thus breaking a series of two defeats in a row. These three points helped the Biancorossi to reach 15th place in the table. The gap from the relegation zone is now six points.
